To unlock one of the game’s possible conclusions, you must venture to the game’s furthest reaches, into the game’s bowls, and complete an extremely obscure side quest to become the legendary Lord of Frenzied Flame. This quest will lead you through some of the game’s most exciting and eerie areas, and it’s guaranteed to be one of the more tragic conclusions to Elden Ring. Read about it in this article.
Where to get the Frenzied Flame in Elden Ring?
Somewhere in your travels across the Lands, you might have learned of the Frenzied Flame, a parasitic entity that spreads its wrath steadily throughout the planet. Even though the Flame is mentioned by several different people, finding it can be a challenge. The Frenzied Flame can only be found toward the end of the game when you’ve made your way to Leyndell, the Royal Capital. Discovering the Subterranean Shunning Grounds, a sewer beneath the capital will be your next step.
Visitors must first reach the Lower Capital Church Site of Grace to reach the area covered by the enormous dragon wings. When you get there, look for a well; if you jump into it, you’ll be in the underground shunning grounds. Finding the Frenzied Flame requires descending to the Shunning Grounds’ lowest point. It’s not easy to figure out your way around here, but you’ll have to make your way via the sewers to a little elevator. There is a Site of Grace at the base of this elevator; please take a break there.
Move from the Grace Site until you meet Mohg, The Omen, the area boss. This foe is a reduced form of a stricter foe you’ll face in a different part of the game. Finding out what to do next on your journey to the Frenzied Flame can be a head-scratcher. After you’ve defeated this Mohg, proceed to the room’s back and hit the wall; you’ll find a phantom barrier there; pass through it.
You’ll need some strong parkour talents for the next part. To get to the bottom of the next chasm after Mohg, you’ll need to jump down a succession of wooden planks. As soon as you reach the bottom, stake your claim to the Site of Grace.
1) Having Contact With The Raging Fire
Meet with Melina here at the Graceful Place. She’ll implore you to get out of there and away from the Frenzied Flame. Ignoring her advice will get you the ending you want. After that, remove any equipment you’re currently using. Get close to the door covered in Frenzy and select the option to open it. A brief scenario will depict your tarnished confronting the Three Fingers, a terrifying deity of the Lands Between.
Once this cutscene has been triggered, there is no going back to any other possible conclusion. After defeating the game’s final boss, players can approach the statue and use the option to “Become the Lord of Frenzied Flame” to unleash destruction onto the Lands Between.
2) Putting Out A Raging Fire
You’ll have to face two of Elden Ring’s most challenging bosses and complete a series of quests if you want to undo everything you did in the Subterranean Shunning Grounds. To begin, you must finish all of Millicent’s sidequests. Beginning this quest in the Church of Plague in Caelid will lead you to the region of Haligtree.
Following Millicent’s quest’s conclusion, you will be given the Unalloyed Gold Needle, which must be carried to Malenia’s boss room in the Haligtree. After defeating Malenia, she uses the Needle on the blood-red blossom that blooms over her body. The one-time use of Miquella’s Needle is your reward for completing this quest.
To utilize this item and undo the Frenzied Flame ending, you must reach Crumbling Farum Azula, the game’s last location. Once you arrive, descend to the ruins’ lowest level. Just lay down as instructed, and you’ll be whisked away to a boss fight area. You can use the item after defeating the hidden boss. If you do this, the Lord Frenzied Flame Ending won’t happen.

What happens if you claim a Frenzied Flame in Elden Ring?
After defeating the game’s final boss, visit the statue of Fractured Marika to receive the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending by interacting with the scar you received in the fight. But there’s one more action you might see if you stick around. If you get the Burning Scar before facing the Fire Giant, she won’t stay with you when you burn the thorns protecting the Erdtree. After reaching the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending, Milena will arrive to challenge the player (if she survives till then).
While the Burning Scar is present, no other possible endings can be accessed.
Elden Ring features multiple possible conclusions. These conclusions range from being straightforward to find to being secretive and difficult to figure out. The Frenzied Flame inflicts the player in one of the possible endings. You can only locate this Flame if you know where to look.
