Non-Linear progression rout of the Elden Ring

Non-Linear progression rout of the Elden Ring

Elden Ring Complete progression route. Elden Ring’s story is less linear than that of FromSoftware’s previous offerings like Dark Souls, Sekiro, and Bloodborne as an open-world game. From your lowly beginnings in the Stranded Graveyard, you must climb to the depths of the beautiful Erdtree to fulfill the prophecy of Godfrey’s tarnished ancestors and become the Elden Lord.

It’s a top-tier gaming experience, but you need to follow a specific order of events to get the most out of it. It’s up to you to decide how far you want to go, but following our Elden Ring Progression Route will help you avoid going to places that are too hard for you right now or skipping over parts that are important now but will be boringly easy afterward. The perfect Elden Ring adventure is one in which each step is a tremendous challenge to maintain that adrenaline rush.

Preferred Method of Advancement and Boss Roster in Elden Ring

Elden Ring Complete progression route. If this is your first time playing a game like Souls, we recommend going with the Golden Seed as your Keepsake. This will provide you with an early-game permanent heal. This map will show you the quickest and most direct way to Elden Ring, given that you are free to travel anywhere you like in the Lands Between.

As soon as you reach The First Step, you can safely bypass the Tree Sentinel. Everything can be defeated with level 1 equipment, but if you want to do more than a bit of damage and survive more than one hit, you should probably move on. The following map will guide you to the best locations to kill bosses, level up, and loot weapons and armor. As with most Dragon bosses in the game, engaging Agheel is entirely voluntary.

Continue south through Agheel Lake South and Bloodhound Knight Darriwil’s Evergaol once you’ve traversed the bulk of central Limgrave. Follow the coast southward until you reach the Bridge of Sacrifice. Next, you should do as much clearing as possible in this spot. It is recommended to patrol the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace at night to engage the Night’s Cavalry to obtain loot and experience. The eleven bosses in this zone, including Leonine Misbegotten in Castle Morne, should be manageable.

After seeing most of Limgrave, head to Stormveil Castle to face off against Margit. Naturally, you can return to skipped field monsters like the Tree Sentinel and Flying Dragon Agheel to ultimately maximize your stats without hitting diminishing returns on XP increases.

Now comes the tricky part: making it through Stormveil without getting lost or depleting your supply of Crimson Flasks. Since that could be more challenging than Margit, you can head east toward Caelid. Don’t linger, but see if you can discover any new Sites of Grace. You can increase your supply of flasks by exploring some caves and finding some more Golden Seeds.

When you need a little boost in level to make it through Stormveil and on to Godrick the Grafted, the game’s second tale fight, the “early game farm” is the place to go. Find the Farum Greatbridge Site of Grace while farming on the northeast side of Caelid; you’ll need it when you return to take on the Black Blade Kindred and the Flying Dragon Greyll.

You’ll want to start on the outskirts here because the population density is as high as in the previous two areas. Embrace the space to the left or right. Since there is nothing of note other than Sites of Grace and collectibles, you should avoid the lake paths. Get as far as the Caria Manor on the left and the Church of Inhibition on the right, which are named locations.

Conclusion

You should map your Elden Ring progression path before venturing into the game world if you want to enjoy consistently rugged and efficient playtime.

We’ve discussed the optimal Elden Ring progression path to help you with that. As always, we appreciate your time and effort in reading this material.
